The police emphasize that cyclists have to adhere to the traffic rules. References such as disregarding red lights or driving in the wrong direction are not uncommon. Here there are high fines, even from up to 100 euros for using the cell phone while driving! The technical condition of the bicycles must also be right: Many are on the road without light at night and risk warning payments of up to 35 euros. Helmet and reflective clothing are not mandatory, but are urgently recommended. The police wish all cyclists a safe and accident -free season!
