In a chaotic incident last night in Marzahn, two alcoholic adolescents, 19 and 20 years old, committed an assault on police officers. Around 8 p.m., the duo threw garbage and bottles from a balcony of the 9th floor of an apartment building on Poelchaustrasse onto a property below. Particularly shocking: some bottles landed near a children's playground where children played at the time of the crime.

The police were alerted and quickly moved out to the site. During the search of the apartment, a 19-year-old suspect aggressively opposed the official with two scissors in the hand. A policeman threatened to use firearms, but was ultimately able to overwhelm the attacker. Both men were brought into police custody to take blood, but have been released after clarification of their identity. A policeman suffered an arm injury in the incident, but remained obliged to work. The investigation leads to a specialist commissioner of the police department 3 (East).
