In the night of May 2, 2025, a traffic light system was significantly damaged by an unknown vehicle in Haselünne, on Lingener Straße. The signaling system overturned between 3 and 6 a.m., with property damage of around 40,000 euros. The traffic lights that are set up on both sides of the road and are connected by cables were severely affected by the incident.

The police are now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information on the incident or the fleeting vehicle.
