Fraudsters at work: Caution of false Telekom employees in Stade!

On Tuesday, April 15, two masked fraudsters pretended to be a telecom employee and broke into an apartment building in Stade, Richeyweg. While one of the perpetrators distracted the 70-year-old apartment owner in the hallway, the accomplice crept into the apartment and stole several hundred euros in cash and an old mobile phone. The damage is estimated at several hundred euros.

The crooks made another attempt a little later. At around 6:00 p.m., they rang in the city center at an apartment door in Rosenstrasse and gave to carry out a "telecom network change". However, the attentive resident felt uncomfortable and did not open the door. The fraudsters disappeared without success.
