A 57-year-old woman from Tamm was victims of an unscrupulous phone fraud on Monday. The perpetrator, who pretended to be a bank employee, contacted the woman around 1:00 p.m. and warned her of alleged suspicious debit from her account. In an almost two-hour conversation, the unsuspecting lady was tempted to reveal personal data and confirm several fake payment instructions in her online bank.

The shock came when she noticed the financial loss of several thousand euros. Immediately after discovering the fraud, the woman filed a complaint with the police in Ludwigsburg. The authorities urgently warn of such fraud stitches and advise you to always be skeptical when calling.
