A damp night ended with an alcohol test and a police check for a 35-year-old from Voerde! On Tuesday evening she visited a fast food restaurant in Oberhausen with a friend, where the two loudly announced how drunk they were. The scenes were not perceived unnoticed by other guests who noticed how the women had trouble using the ordering device.

After the friends got into a Mercedes and drove away, attentive witnesses reacted immediately and informed the police. The vehicle was finally able to stop a patrol car crew on Konrad-Adenauer-Allee. When asked if she had drunk something, the driver replied that she only consumed "a sparkling wine". A voluntary breath alcohol test revealed, however, that it was far above the permissible border and driving.
