In the small community of Hohentengen, an incident occurred in the early Sunday morning, which attracted the attention of the local police. A patrol car noticed an Audi that drove strikingly and uncontrollably on the street. The officials, alarmed by the risky driving style, followed the vehicle and quickly realized that the driver was traveling in far -reaching snake lines. This driving behavior suggests that the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol, which caused the police officers to initiate control.

During the subsequent control, the worst fears of the ready-to-use police officers were confirmed. The 37-year-old driver had shown clear signs of drunkenness. An alcohol test carried out resulted in a frighteningly high value of almost two per thousand. For comparison: the legally permitted limit for drivers is 0.5 per thousand. This number makes it clear that the driver not only endangered his own security, but also put that of the other road users enormously.

Legal consequences for the driver

In view of the high alcohol content in the driver's blood, a blood sample was taken on the instructions of the police. This measure is not only routine, but also serves as a legal proof of any charges that is raised against the driver. The man's driver's license was retained immediately, which temporarily prohibits him. In the coming days, he will be investigated for drunkenness in traffic, which could result in serious legal consequences, such as high fines or even a prison sentence.

The police regularly inform about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol and carry out preventive measures to prevent such incidents. Nevertheless, it remains to be hoped that such controls will bring the population to reflect and encourage more people to deal with alcohol more responsibly, especially in road traffic.
