A drunker caused a stir in Amriswilstrasse! At 7:55 p.m., the 44-year-old passed a pedestrian crossing aid with his Citroen and tore two traffic signs from the concrete. Despite the loud damage, he simply turned out of the dust.

A attentive witness alerted the police and left a license plate that quickly led to the identification of the driver. A little later, this was tracked down at his residential address and in an obviously drunk state. An alcohol test resulted in alarming two per thousand! Now the man has to expect serious legal consequences: his driver's license has been confiscated and the police are investigating due to road traffic hazard and escape. The total damage amounts to around 3,000 euros.
