In a dramatic incident on Autobahn 43 in Recklinghausen, a 45-year-old driver was stopped on Tuesday night, who was at the wheel with a shocking alcohol value of 2.12 per thousand! The police had noticed the vehicle when it was unsafe and in snake lines towards Wuppertal.

The driver, a Ukrainian from Castrop-Rauxel, had a 35-year-old passenger on board. During the check, the strong alcohol smell was immediately noticed, which resulted in a voluntary breath alcohol test. The police have thus uncovered another worrying example of inability to drive in road traffic.
