Paid beer, vodka stolen: 38-year-old Pole caught in Altentreptow
alcoholic theft in Altentreptow
An unexpected incident shook the calm city of Altentreptow last Friday afternoon when a seller of a local shopping market alerted the police. A customer who had only paid one beer at the cash register was observed how he had several bottles of vodka worth around 110 euros.
The officials arrived quickly and confronted the 38-year-old Polish suspect with the allegations. During a search, they actually found the stolen bottles of vodka that the man had obviously hidden.
As a consequence, the thief not only received a ban on house from the market, but was also reported for theft. This incident again shows the importance of watchful behavior in the trade to prevent theft and unfair business practices.
The press office of the Neubrandenburg police inspection and the local authorities will be happy to provide you with more information.
