Approach in Reutlingen: Unknowns puts garbage in flames!
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, the fire brigade, emergency services and police were alerted to a house in Mauerstrasse after residents noticed smoke in the stairwell at 3 a.m. The emergency services, with 20 men and six vehicles on site, discovered burning household waste as well as yellow recycling bags and boxes under a wooden staircase. The fire could be deleted quickly, but the investigation into arson was recorded because an unknown perpetrator is held responsible for the fire. The property damage amounts to around 5,000 euros.
On Tuesday afternoon, there was also a traffic accident at the Bernhäuser Straße/Benzachweg intersection when a 59-year-old truck driver disregarded the right of BMW from a 45-year-old driver. The BMW airbags were triggered in the collision and a ten -year -old child suffered minor injuries. The total damage is estimated at around 17,000 euros. Another accident in the K1225/Metzinger Straße roundabout caused property damage of around 26,000 euros when a 73-year-old disregarded the right of way of a Porsche driving there. Nobody was injured.
