Brutaler Messerangriff in Kreuzberg: Ehemann nach Attacke in Haft!
In a shattering incident in Berlin-Kreuzberg, a 38-year-old German was attacked by her 25-year-old Syrian husband with a knife. The brutal incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Dudenstrasse and Katzbachstraße when the man first packed his wife behind and hit her in the face without warning. Immediately after the attack, the victim was on the run and searched for refuge in a car, but the husband did not give up and tore open the passenger door to put it on her with a knife. When BZ Berlin reported, the woman suffered injuries to the face and upper body, but her wounds are not life-threatening.
After the attack, the perpetrator fled towards Viktoriapark, but a little later stood by the police in Tempelhof. There he was arrested and was now in custody after an investigative judge had issued an arrest warrant against him, as the Tagesspiegel reported. The quick action of a driver who hurried to the injured woman could possibly have prevented worse things. The public prosecutor confirmed the arrest warrant due to the serious injuries that were inflicted to the victim.
