Göttingen, Deutschland - On May 1, 2025, celebrating with around 5,000 people on Göttinger Kiessee! But the fun was overshadowed by numerous thefts and excessive alcohol consumption. The police reported several incidents, including many stolen bags, which were already reported in the evening and also displayed online on Friday afternoon. A final number of offenses is still pending.

From around 10:00 p.m., the celebrants gradually flocked from the party location. However, the review of the celebration shows a sad picture: the areas used were left in an extremely dirty state. The law enforcement officers now have their hands full!
