In a dramatic night from February 28th to March 1, 2025, there was a violent argument between a 29-year-old man and his 37-year-old partner in an apartment in Rhineland-Palatinate. In the course of the emotional conflict, the man grabbed the common baby and refused to give the child withdrawn. Shocking threats against the mother and the baby followed, which resulted in an immediate alarm by the police.

After long three hours of intensive negotiations, the police finally managed to make the man free to leave the baby - luckily the baby was not injured. Thanks to a judicial order, the man will be kept in long -term custody by March 5, 2025. In addition, after his release, he must not enter his partner's apartment for ten days to ensure the security of the family and to give the woman time for further legal steps.
