Three men arrested at copper theft in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg!

In the night of Tuesday, May 20, 2025, three men were arrested in the Wilhelmsburg district after entering a shell site unauthorized. According to the investigation of the State Criminal Police Office (LKA 132), the trio, consisting of a 37-year-old, a 43-year-old and a 66-year-old, entered the area to prepare copper pipes that were then loaded into a vehicle by an accomplice

The police found the criminals in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene and temporarily arrested them. After a detectional treatment, the 37-year-old and the 43-year-old were released. The LKA investigation continues and raise questions about the stitch of the perpetrators and the background of the theft.
