On Thursday morning, the police carried out a traffic control on Ihmerter Straße and stopped a Polish truck. The 45-year-old driver showed clear signs of drug use. A urine-search confirmed the suspected moments, and the driver was brought to remove a blood sample to determine whether he was under the influence of prohibited substances.

At lunchtime, the officers targeted a 65-year-old scooter driver on Hagener Strasse. With him, too, the drug racing test was positive, which is why he was also brought to the guard for the removal of blood sample. The results of these tests will clarify whether the respective limit values have been exceeded.
