E-scooter driver in Wittlich: 1.48 per thousand at the wheel!

On the evening of February 18, 2025, a 34-year-old man in Wittlich was stopped by the police when he was traveling with his e-scooter on Kurfürstenstrasse. The officials quickly discovered that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. An alcohol test carried out showed alarming 1.48 per thousand!

The police prohibited the man's journey and took a blood sample from him. Now the e-scooter driver has to answer for drunkenness in road traffic.
