Driver flees from police in Wilmersdorf - arrest and drugs found!

Wilmersdorf, Deutschland - In Wilmersdorf, a 27-year-old man was arrested this morning after trying to avoid police control. Shortly after 6:30 a.m., a witness reported a suspicious driving behavior of a rental car driver on Kurfürstenstrasse, who repeatedly pressed the horn. The police were able to find the car, but the driver started fleeing, raced at excessive speed and ran over several red traffic lights.

The persecution ended in the street Am Schölerpark, where the police finally put the man. When searching the vehicle, the officials found alleged narcotics and stolen goods. Additional investigations showed that there was an open arrest warrant against the man due to an earlier property. In police custody, a blood sample was ordered because there was suspicion that it had driven under the influence of intoxicants. The further investigation leads to a specialist commissioner of the police department 2 (West).
