Bicycle accident in Ulm: 12-year-olds injured, driver escapes!

In the afternoon of yesterday's day there was a disturbing incident in Ulm: a 12-year-old was on her bicycles with her friends (11 and 9 years old) on her bicycles in Wiedemannweg when a black small car overtook dangerously close. The driver of the car disregarded the safety distance and also turned left at the intersection to the Weihungsstraße. The girl was startled, lost control and crashed into a Mercedes parked on the roadside.

The 12-year-old fell and injured himself slightly. She was immediately brought to a clinic with an ambulance. The driver of the small car continued his journey freely towards Donautalstrasse and thus fled from the scene of the accident.
