Color chaos in Ludwigstraße: Police investigated after street pollution

On Sunday afternoon, a vandalism act on Ludwigstrasse caused excitement! A witness alerted the police when he discovered a bucket with a white color, which was thrown onto the road and heavily polluted the turning lane and the bicycle protection strip in front of the confluence with Mannheimer Strasse/Mainz goal. The still liquid color was further distributed by other vehicles, which made the situation worse.

Investigations on site showed that the color bucket was part of a bulky waste collection that was stored next to the street. The perpetrators had obviously also used the color to leave questionable lettering on the curb and a wall, the letters being applied with their fingers. The police are now looking for information about the perpetrators and appeals to witnesses.
