Arrest on the Lotter Kirchweg: Police grabbed a drug artist sought!

On Monday afternoon there was a spectacular police operation on Lotter Kirchweg: A 36-year-old man who has been looking for an arrest warrant since the end of February was discovered by a patrol officer. Despite an attempt to escape on foot, the requested finally gave up when the policeman threatened to catch up with a full e-bike battery. The man was arrested together with support colleagues.

At the order of the district court, the police searched the home of the arrested and his partner. The officers met with a wealth of evidence, including various drugs. The case impressively shows how quickly the police also become active in apparently everyday situations to grasp perpetrators and combat crime.
