Fleepy truck crashes traffic island - police are looking for witnesses!

In the early Saturday morning, April 5, 2025, the police were alerted on Erfurter Strasse due to a spectacular accident. An attentive citizen reported that a traffic island was run over and the signage was significantly damaged. The police discovered a real rubble field on site, which included both parts of the traffic signs and debris of the vehicle causing. The property damage amounts to around 400 euros.

First investigations indicate that the fleeting vehicle is a Mercedes-Benz tractor-tractor that was traveling towards Honsel petrol station/Bebra. The Sondershausen police are now asking witnesses who have information about the accident or the fleeting vehicle.
