on the night of Wednesday, February 12, a 39-year-old woman at Thomas-Mann-Platz in Südhessen was the victim of a brutal attack. At around 1:40 a.m., an unknown perpetrator approached from behind, pushed her down and tore her handbag off her. With valuable jewelry in the prey, the criminal fled on a footpath in an eastern direction.

The perpetrator is described as about 23 to 24 years old and around 1.70 meters tall, with athletic figure and Arabic appearance - but without a beard. He wore a black training suit with hoods and striking red and white accents on the sleeves, as well as black shoes. The police ask for information from the population to clarify this brazen attack.
