Peaceful urgent assembly: Thousands demonstrate in Nuremberg!

on Thursday evening, January 30, 2025, there was an impressive urban meeting with several thousand participants in downtown Nuremberg. The event started around 6:30 p.m. at Hallplatz with around 800 people and developed into a large elevator that moved through the streets of the city, including Kornmarkt and Ludwigplatz before ending at 8:15 p.m. at Jakobsplatz. Around 2,100 people took part in the final rally.

The meeting was completely trouble -free. The police were on site with an increased contingent, including emergency services from the Middle Franconia support command, to ensure security and order. Despite the high number of participants, there were no significant incidents, and the city could monitor the situation without complications.
