In the city of Oppenheim, two brutal attacks occurred on Sunday night, which focus on the safety of the young people and the community. The Oppenheim police report on a first incident around 4:30 a.m. in Mainzer Strasse, in which a 17-year-old youth and her 15-year-old companion got into an argument with an unknown woman. This conflict escalated quickly when the attacker hit the two young women with a filled bottle.

The police have already started an investigation and assumes that there could be a connection between these two violent attacks.
