Graffiti attack in Mainz: Provocation with a political message!

In the night from Thursday to Friday, two abnormalities were reported in the graffiti world in the Gonsenheim district of Mainz. A garage in the Josef Traxel-Weg and the fence of a daycare center in the Südring suffered color attacks. The perpetrators left a clear and provocative message with black color: "Gaza is starved, the blockade stops by Israel."

The police were alerted and has initiated investigations to clarify the background of this political graffiti campaign. The facade of the garage and the fence of the daycare center had to be freed from the smearings. This raises questions and shows how current conflicts also find its expression at the local level.
