Young driver under drugs: Police stops cannabis raser in Spickel!

On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, a 22-year-old driver was stopped by the police in Spickel and was under the influence of cannabis. Around 4.45 p.m., the woman in Damaschkestrasse noticed the drug smell during a traffic control. A rapid drug test confirmed the suspicion and was positive for cannabis.

The officials immediately prevented the woman from continuing, securing the vehicle key and prompting blood sampling. Now the police are investigating a violation of the Road Traffic Act. The negligent negligence could have serious legal consequences for the young driver.
