Fight against financial fraud: Saarländer police smashed huge snowball system!

Saarbrücken, Deutschland - This morning there was a spectacular police operation in seven federal states, in which over 190 officials searched a total of 25 objects, including twelve in Saarland. In the context of the investigation against 19 accused who are suspected of having operated a large snowball system, five arrest warrants were carried out. The police and the public prosecutor's office in Saarbrücken led the commitment that were directed against commercial and gang fraud, illegal banking and money laundering.

The criminal network is said to have collected at least six million euros from thousands of unsuspecting investors over several years. Interior Minister Reinhold Jost described the mission against financial crime and praised the comprehensive cooperation between the emergency services in the federal states and the professionalism of the Saarland police.
