Keller slump in Nuremberg: Taking suspect on the run!

In the Nuremberg Südstadt, a 26-year-old man tried to break up a basement compartment on Monday night. At 1:30 a.m., an attentive resident noticed suspicious noises from the basement of an apartment building on Allersberger Strasse and checked the situation. When the burglar spotted the witness, he fled, but the police were able to arrest him a short time later.

At the request of the Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor's office, the suspect was presented to an investigative judge. He is now expecting a procedure for suspicion of attempted particularly severe theft. The investigation is ongoing while the man has to take a legal examination.
