Riots and thefts: Carnival in Warendorf out of control!

On the carnival weekend from February 28 to March 2, 2025, the Warendorf police were called for physical disputes in Telgte and Warendorf at celebrations. There were a total of 17 missions, with some parties involved. The location was additionally burdened by pickpockets, which stole cell phones and wallets - a nuisance that can cloud the party mood.

While further carnival events are imminent on March 2 and 3, 2025, the police warn for caution and asks all celebrants to celebrate peacefully and to do without alcohol or drugs in road traffic.
