Burning garbage containers: Police are looking for witnesses in Osnabrück!

In the early morning hour on Sunday, around 4:25 a.m., a devastating fire broke out at the university in Lise-Meitner-Straße when several dumpstiners caught fire and were completely destroyed. Only 30 minutes later, another fire occurred on Artilleriestraße, in which the garbage cans of an apartment building went up in flames. These were also completely destroyed and the facade of the building suffered damage.

The causes of the fire have so far been unclear, which is why the police have started investigations into property damage. Witnesses who have seen something or can provide information are asked to report to the police on 0541/327-3103 or -2215.
