Mysterious vehicle fire in Rostock: Police are looking for witnesses!

In the night of March 17, 2025, a BMW in Dehmelstraße, Stadtmitte district, Rostock Lichterloh burned around 03:45 a.m. Unknown perpetrators set fire to the vehicle, which led to a full fire. The heat was so intense that a neighboring Skoda was also significantly damaged. The property damage amounts to around 20,000 euros.

A fire -caused investigator found that a technical defect can be excluded as the cause of the fire. The Rostock police inspection has now started an investigation into suspected arson.
