New insights in the yogtze case: Was it really an accident?
After more than 40 years of the riddle about the death of Günter Stoll from the Siegerland, the Hagen police finally brings clarity! Treated to be treated as Cold Case, new investigations show that Stoll was not the victim of a crime. Instead, the findings speak for a tragic traffic accident. Despite years of speculation about the mysterious word "Yogtze", which Stoll wrote on a piece of paper shortly before his death, its meaning remains unclear.
The current investigations reveal that Stoll was in a mental state of emergency when he came off the highway unchecked and collided with a tree - without a seat belt and undressed. This suggests his mental constitution. The police have cleared the last doubts about a crime and confirmed a gruesome accident as the cause of death.
