The Langwedel police station has found its new home at Hauptstraße 45 in Daverden. After the police have completely moved out of the town hall, it invites the public to an open house on Sunday, August 11th.

The move of the Langwedel police station has been completed, as police spokesman Helge Cassens announces. Due to the self -need of the municipal administration in the old town hall, a new location for the five -member team around station manager Jörg Evers had become necessary.

The new police station at Hauptstraße 45 offers spacious and modern office space. Station manager Jörg Evers expressed a positive statement about the move and emphasized the importance of police stations in rural areas.

Police Director Antje Schichtmann emphasized that police stations like in Langwedel play an important role in exchange with citizens. They emphasize confidence in police work and strengthen the feeling of security of the population.

The new police station at Hauptstraße 45, corner of Hohberg, remains available on the known phone number 04232/93 49 10. The opening times of the police station remain unchanged, from Monday to Thursday from 7.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays until 2 p.m.

In addition to the Langwedel police station, the citizens have another 24-hour police station on the A 27 to ensure safety in the stains.

On Sunday, August 11th, all citizens have the opportunity to visit the new Langwedel police station at the open house day. In addition to insights into police work, interested parties can receive information about the police studies at the police academy. For children there is a bouncy castle, an ice cream truck and the Daverden fire brigade ensures the physical well -being of the visitors.
