New police headquarters in Oberhausen: contract signed!

A big step for the Oberhausen police: Finally, building the new police headquarters is in sight! After a long selection process, the bidding community Ten Brinke Projektentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG and JBR partner was awarded the contract for the new construction project on Concordiastraße. On Tuesday, March 11th, the rental agreement was made by the police president Dr. Sylke Sackermann and the bidders officially signed.

"The requirements for the police have increased over the years. Therefore we need a modern and sustainable police headquarters," said Dr. Sackermann. With this contract, the course for contemporary police work has been set, and those responsible for the police and the Ministry of the Interior North Rhine -Westphalia and the LZPD NRW are looking forward to the early implementation of the new location. The new building not only promises a modern work environment, but also an improved security infrastructure for the entire region.
