Police Rinteln Determined: Unpleasant removal of accident locations ensures investigations

Last weekend there were two cases of accident escape in Rinteln, which the police examine. These incidents again show the need for a sense of responsibility in road traffic.

An incident occurred on Friday, July 5th, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. in Mühlenstrasse, when a Mazda and a VW collided. The 80-year-old driver of the VW initially moved away from the scene of the accident, but was later found by the investigators. The damage was estimated on about 400EUR.

The second accident occurred between June 4, 2024 and July 6, 2024 in a parking lot in the street in the emerted when a 67-year-old driver joined his Ford against a parked Citroen. The damage caused by property is estimated on around 1000EUR.

Despite the progress in the investigation, all witnesses, especially the person who left a note, are asked to report to the Rinteln police to provide further information.
