Police Ulm strikes: Strict controls against Posing on Car Friday!
Göppingen, Deutschland - On Good Friday, the Ulm police headquarters carried out massive controls against Posing and illegal tuning because the Poser and tuning scene tries to declare this day to their own holiday, the “Car Friday”. Over 60 vehicles were objected to during the searches, whereby almost 30 of them became illegal due to considerable technical defects. These defects often resulted from improper conversions, such as deepered chassis and manipulated exhaust systems.
Particularly explosive: A 57-year-old BMW driver raced through Göppingen at 135 km/h, where only 70 km/h are allowed and tried to escape the police. He was finally stopped in Wangen, and against him and a companion is now being investigated for suspicion of an illegal vehicle race. In addition, two drivers were subjected to a blood sample due to drugs, and a man who found EUR 25,000 in cash was faced with investigations into money laundering. The police are taking a positive balance and announcing further controls in the future.
