Robbery theft in Regensburg: knife and arrest warrant for perpetrators!

On Tuesday evening, a dramatic incident occurred in a drugstore in Weisse-Lilien-Straße, Regensburg. A 50-year-old man was caught in the theft of two perfume flacons worth several hundred euros. The alleged perpetrator tried to escape undetected, but was stopped by an attentive shop detective. There was a physical argument that threw the detective to the ground. But the drugstore team did not give up and recorded the thief until the police arrived.

When the 50-year-old's backpack was searched, the police discovered two hand-ready knives. There was already a ceremony for the man due to particularly severe theft. On Wednesday he was brought before a judge who confirmed the existing arrest warrant. The thief was immediately taken to a correctional facility. The Regensburg Criminal Police Inspection has started the investigation into predatory theft.
