Rapid chase ends in the hospital: drivers seriously injured!

A dramatic traffic accident shook the Hüttenstraße in Wetter on Saturday morning! A 46-year-old driver of a VW was opened by a 25-year-old in a Mercedes AMG at around 6:10 a.m. The two men suffered minor injuries and had to be transported to nearby hospitals.

The police quickly determined that the young Hattinger may have been alcoholized, which is why a blood sample was ordered. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the impact and were removed from the public traffic area by a towing company. The investigation by the district police authority Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis is underway, while the cause of the accident is further examined.
