Real talk in Wittlich: Students discuss security with police!

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, an exciting new dialogue format called "Real Talk Wittlich" took place in Wittlich! Around 50 students in the ninth classes from four schools came together to talk directly to the police about burning topics such as security and order. The Clara Viebig Realschule, the Electoral Balduin Realschule, the Cusanus-Gymnasium and the Peter-Wust-Gymnasium were represented with its best minds.

Police chief Selina Römer emphasized: "We want to make young people hear!" The event offered the students the opportunity to express their perspectives and to develop a better understanding of their worries and needs. The young people were enthusiastic about the exchange and drawn a consistently positive conclusion - a successful first step towards more security and communication in the city!
