Stimulating gas incident in Shisha-Bar: Police asks for testimony

In the night from Friday to Saturday, an incident caused excitement in a shisha bar in St. Wendel. Around 1:15 a.m., the police received the message that an unknown perpetrator had sprayed irritant gas in Balduinstrasse. Several guests then complained of the respiratory tract irritation, which led to an emergency service and police. Fortunately, although over a dozen guests were affected, no acute need for action for the rescue workers was required.

The incident naturally raises questions and the police asks for the population to find the perpetrator. According to current information, this could spray the irritant gas from the outside through a window into the bar. Since some guests had left the bar before the police arrived, there is the possibility that other affected people or witnesses have so far remained undetected.
