Officials from the Rüsselsheim police station caused a stir on Tuesday evening (January 28th) as part of the immediate program "Safe Downtown". Between 5.45pm and 7.15pm, they carried out comprehensive traffic controls in Walter-Flex-Straße and discovered 24 overall speed. The inglorious leader was a 52-year-old Rüsselsheimer who was traveling with a whopping 52 kilometers per hour, where only 30 km/h are allowed.

But that was not all: a 51-year-old driver was also stopped, and without a valid driving license! A criminal proceedings are now being initiated for him. With these measures, the police show that they are decisive against traffic offenders and illegal drivers - a clear announcement for more security in the streets!
