Shock in Ruppichteroth: 24-year-old seriously injured in the attack!

Ruppichteroth-Stranzenbach, Deutschland - The Bonn police started investigating an attempted homicide on Thursday, February 20, 2025. At around 2:25 p.m. there were shots in Ruppichteroth-Stranzenbach, with a 24-year-old being seriously injured. Witnesses heard the shots and found the injured man near the streets to the pond/to the Weiherbusch. The population immediately alerted the police.

The emergency services provided first aid and the seriously injured was transported to a clinic for intensive care treatment. Due to the investigation, a murder commission led by chief criminal chief Rainer Müller took over the coordination with chief prosecutor Claudia Heitmann. The investigation continues, while the motif and the background of the incident are unclear.
