A serious traffic accident occurred on the L3004 this morning, which brought the participants into alarming danger. An 81-year-old woman who drove her Suzuki in the direction of Schmiedefeld lost control in a right-hand bend and got on the opposite lane. There was a serious collision with an oncoming VW, directed by a 70-year-old woman.

The impact was violent and led to the Suzuki coming off the street and landed on the roof. While the 81-year-old was seriously injured, the VW driver only suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles are now unusable and had to be towed. The L3004 remained fully blocked during the accident recording and the salvage measures. The police have started the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
