Serious accident in Offenburg: truck driver disregarded right of way!

On Wednesday morning, a traffic accident occurred in the Wagnerstraße and Dreherstrasse intersection, in which a 53-year-old VW driver suffered minor injuries. The accident occurred around 8 a.m. when a 58-year-old man with his tractor-trailer ignored the right of way of the Passat coming from the right and came to the collision. The injured driver was brought to a close clinic for further treatment, while his damaged VW had to be towed.

The police estimate the total damage at around 35,000 euros. The truck driver now looks forward to a criminal complaint for negligent bodily harm.
