Serious traffic accident: 86-year-old pedestrian injured in Brühl

In a regrettable traffic accident that occurred in Brühl on Wednesday, August 28, an 86-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured. The incident took place on Richard-Bertram-Straße around 11:30 a.m. and affected a 54-year-old driver of a BMW.

According to initial information, the driver was traveling on Richard-Bertram-Straße in the direction of Kaiserstrasse, while the senior used the sidewalk towards Schlaunstrasse. At the confluence, the driver wanted to turn left into Wilhelm-Kamm-Straße. At that moment, the pedestrian crossed the street and came into contact with the vehicle. Accordingly, it was thrown over the BMW bonnet and suffered a fall on the asphalt.
