In a shocking incident in Ober-Rosbach, construction containers were broken up between Friday evening and Monday morning and tools worth around 7,500 euros were stolen. The police are asking witnesses who have observed suspicious activities in Philipp-Reis-Straße.

On Monday morning there was a significant traffic accident on the B 455 near Ober-Widdersheim. A 71-year-old man got on the opposite lane due to the dazzling sun and collided with another 71-year-old. Both drivers suffered minor injuries while a 75-year-old passenger was seriously injured. The federal road was closed for almost two hours. In addition, two other women were seriously injured in an accident on the B 3 when a 50-year-old got into oncoming traffic and collided with a Toyota. In a further incident on the B 275, a 60-year-old drove to a waiting car, which led to an additional accident with several participants, with injuries and damage to the property of over 11,000 euros.
