Speed marathon 2025: Police starts rapid speed check!

The Hessian police are participating in the speed marathon of the Roadpol network this year! With this important traffic safety initiative, the speed of vehicles at more than 250 measuring points is checked. Over 600 police officers and municipal employees will be deployed to hold back the frenzied drivers and make the streets safer.

goal is to drastically reduce accidents due to too high speeds and to minimize the risk of serious injuries or even deaths in road traffic. The campaign takes place in close cooperation with other countries to increase traffic safety across Europe. Be warned if you drive too quickly - the police are ready!
