On Sunday afternoon, April 27, a trip by a 73-year-old Trike driver from Rhineland-Palatinate and his 74-year-old companion in Windeck ended with an unfortunate incident. The two drove with their Rewaco-Trike on Landesstraße 147 towards Weyerbusch when a tractor in front decided to turn left into the basalt road.

Despite a timely announcement by the tractor driver, the 73-year-old apparently incorrectly assessed his speed and could not slow down in time. Fatal incident on the country road: The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear, while the police started the investigation.
