On Friday afternoon, April 25, 2025, a spectacular collision in Bonn-Tannenbusch occurred: a patrol car collided with a car! The police car, who was traveling to East Prussia with special and path rights, was overlooked by a 77-year-old driver around 2:25 p.m. This turned out of the street in Tannenbusch into the Hohe Strasse and disregarded the right of way of the emergency vehicle.

The accident happened near the Elsa Brandström School, when the patrol car team, consisting of two civil servants, drove towards Neu-Tannenbusch. A larger family dispute had previously been reported on East Prussia. The police have started the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of this dangerous incident.
